"Found On the Ground" is a wearable arts piece featuring over 2,500 spruce cones along with hundreds of pieces of spruce bark, hemlock cones, cowries, and accents of eucalyptus pods, golden thistles, salmon jaws, acorn caps, leather strips, and other items--all harvested off the ground. I found a majority of these items in Southeast Alaska. Daniel Yutronich modeled this piece in Ketchikan's 37th wearable arts show, "Choose Wisely," alongside 26 other fantastic pieces.
